Join without qualifications
There are many excellent career options in the ADF that generally don&rsquo;t require experience or qualifications. You&rsquo;ll receive all the training you need and be paid while you train.

You'll be paid while you train, and on completion of your Initial Military Training and Employment Training, you’ll earn at least:

As a Draughtsperson in the Army, you’ll play an important role in the construction of Army buildings and infrastructure. You’ll get to apply your training and skills to solving complex construction challenges on a wide range of projects.

Utilising your nationally recognised qualifications, you’ll work in a team of highly trained technical staff on detailed technical design and construction drawings. You’ll also work on project documentation for military supervised construction projects including buildings and structures, engineer services infrastructure and civil engineering works both within Australia and overseas.
