Join without qualifications
There are many excellent career options in the ADF that generally don&rsquo;t require experience or qualifications. You&rsquo;ll receive all the training you need and be paid while you train.
Who it&rsquo;s for:&nbsp;Those seeking general roles and career opportunities.

You'll be paid while you train, and on completion of your Initial Military Training and Employment Training, you’ll earn at least:

Your salary once trained

In the Navy you'll be paid a good salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications.

General Entry: Non-technical

As a Medic Submariner, you may undertake further medical training which can include management courses and category specialisation courses for promotion, including:
<ul>
 <li>Underwater Medicine Clinicians Course</li>
 <li>Clinical Manager Course.</li>
</ul>

As a Medic Submariner, you&rsquo;ll provide medical care to support and maintain the health and wellbeing of your fellow submariners in an environment completely unlike anything you&rsquo;d find in a civilian role.

In this role, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for administering advanced first aid, nursing care, emergency medical care, managing medical supplies and more onboard a submarine.
You&rsquo;ll care for the sick and wounded and be exposed to both conventional and unconventional injuries and illnesses in a variety of situations.

Care for the welfare and medical needs of your fellow submariners by providing healthcare onboard a submarine.
