There are Army Reserve depots located all around Australia. Click <a href="https://army.adfcareers.gov.au/army-reserve#locator">here </a>to find the one closest to you. 
With this being a critical role within the Defence Force, it&rsquo;s possible that positions will be created outside of the listed locations. This will be reviewed and determined on a case-by-case basis.

You will be paid to train and on completion of your Initial Military Training and Initial Employment Training, you’ll earn a tax-free daily rate of at least:

<div class="p">What you&rsquo;ll do </div>
As a part-time Army Officer, you&rsquo;ll learn to lead a team of soldiers in a range of environments, reaching your leadership potential as you put world-class training into practice. 
You&rsquo;ll be taught the key aspects of leadership &ndash; mentorship, decision making, influence, problem solving and more &ndash; gaining transferable skills to take back to your fulltime role. 
In this role, you&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to specialise in one of many military specialisations, including:

On Reserve parade nights, you can expect to put your leadership skills to practice, commanding up to 30 soldiers in a platoon. You may be involved in role-specific training, conducting mission rehearsals, weapons shoots and planning for upcoming exercises. In larger training exercises, you will be responsible for coordination of operations as well as commanding soldiers on the ground. 
This is a highly rewarding role, and not just because you&rsquo;ll be giving back to your country. You&rsquo;ll get the opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience to assist you in your everyday role and advance your career prospects. 
It's also a great chance to travel, make close friendships, step out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself, all without giving up your current lifestyle. 
Just give as little as one night a week, one weekend a month or a few weeks a year, and you&rsquo;ll get a world of new experiences back.
