Join without qualifications
There are many excellent career options in the ADF that don&rsquo;t require experience or qualifications. You&rsquo;ll receive all the training you need and be paid while you train.
Who it&rsquo;s for:&nbsp;Those wanting a part-time role that doesn&rsquo;t require previous experience.

This entry method is currently not recruiting.

You'll be paid to train and on completion of your Initial Military Training and Initial Employment Training, you’ll earn a tax-free daily rate of at least:

The pay you receive in the Army Reserve goes straight into your pocket with no deductions for tax.

As a part-time Army Medic (Health Operator), you could find yourself as the first responder for medical emergencies or delivering ongoing care. You&rsquo;ll work with front line units, training establishments, hospitals and deployed medical facilities to support soldiers, as well as civilians, in all kinds of situations.
If you&rsquo;re looking to experience adventure and excitement outside the everyday, earn tax-free pay and work as part of a close-knit team, this is an exciting opportunity that can work around your lifestyle.

You&rsquo;ll be trained to work in a team made up of highly skilled, multidisciplinary professionals who are often called upon to work, in a variety of operational and non-operational conditions in barracks and in combat environments.
You&rsquo;ll use emergency vehicles including purpose built light and armoured ambulances, helicopters and boats to provide every aspect of healthcare to support and maintain the health and wellbeing of Army personnel.
You can join the Army as a non-registered health provider, with no prior training or experience, where you&rsquo;ll be responsible for the provision of basic health care in different environments within the limits of your training and treatment protocols.
