Use your degree and become a leader in your field
If you already have a degree, you can advance your current profession and apply your tertiary qualifications part time as a Graduate Reserve.
Who it&rsquo;s for:&nbsp;Those who already have a recognised degree.

This entry method is currently not recruiting.

You'll be paid to train and on completion of your Initial Military Training and Initial Employment Training, you’ll earn a tax-free daily rate of at least:

The pay you receive in the Army Reserve goes straight into your pocket with no deductions for tax.

Officer Entry: Graduate Reserve

As a part-time Mental Health Nurse, you'll be a member of the Army&rsquo;s Specialist Health Reserve medical team. You&rsquo;ll work alongside other ADF health professionals supporting the mental health of ADF members, both in the field and in non-operational environments.
If you&rsquo;re looking for more outside of your everyday profession, this important role will enable you to apply your specialist skills to dynamic military environments. You&rsquo;ll earn tax-free pay and work as part of a close-knit team in this exciting opportunity that can work around your lifestyle.

You&rsquo;ll work within multidisciplinary health teams in support of exercises and operations, where your specialist nursing advice and clinical knowledge will contribute to the health of Army personnel. You&rsquo;ll work in a combination of primary healthcare settings (health centres and clinics) in addition to deployed / field environments, regionally or overseas.

You&rsquo;ll gain exposure to modern and mobile land, air and maritime operating environments where you&rsquo;ll use advanced technology and equipment. You may also provide specialist care to humanitarian situations and major international activities. Your patients may vary from Army members to refugees (which may include children and the elderly) and battle casualties.

Use your professional clinical knowledge to support members with their mental health during training, on operations or following their military service.
