Challenge yourself with a one-year commitment

During your Movements Coordinator Gap Year, you’ll play a critical role in providing direct support to ADF operations and exercises. You’ll help manage complex operations, from coordinating the movement of small specialist groups of personnel, to large scale and complex deployments of entire ADF units on international operations and exercises, by land, air and sea assets.

You’ll coordinate the movement of troops, vehicles, equipment and supplies alongside the Navy and Air Force as well as Australian and foreign governments, foreign militaries, emergency services, Border Force and biosecurity officials.

Throughout your Gap Year program, you’ll be supported by professional and dedicated Army personnel who will provide the guidance necessary for you to get the most out of this experience.

Help manage complex logistical operations, coordinating the safe and effective movement of troops, vehicles, equipment and supplies during your Army Gap Year.
