Receive nationally recognised trade training
Join the ADF and use your existing trade skills in a unique military environment.
Who it&rsquo;s for:&nbsp;Those with a nationally recognised trade seeking to undertake hands-on tasks.

You'll be paid to train and on completion of your Initial Military Training and Initial Employment Training, you’ll earn a tax-free daily rate of at least:

The pay you receive in the Army Reserve goes straight into your pocket with no deductions for tax.

As a part-time Plumber, you’ll give back to the community while putting your skills to use in a range of unique environments. 
If you’re looking to experience adventure and excitement outside the everyday, earn tax-free pay and work as part of a close-knit team, this is an exciting opportunity that can work around your lifestyle.

Working and training in both base and field environments, you’ll play an integral role providing water, sewerage and gas services on behalf of the ADF. You’ll have a range of responsibilities, including construction and maintenance support during military and humanitarian exercises and operations. 
When you meet with your unit, you’ll refine your plumbing skills and keep up your soldier training. You’ll play a valuable role supporting your team by providing plumbing expertise, assisting with construction or helping repair buildings on humanitarian operations.
