Use your degree and become a leader in your field
If you already have a degree, you can advance your current profession and apply your tertiary qualifications part time as a Graduate Reserve.
Who it&rsquo;s for:&nbsp;Those who already have a recognised degree.

You'll be paid to train and on completion of your Initial Military Training and Initial Employment Training, you’ll earn a tax-free daily rate of at least:

The pay you receive in the Navy Reserve goes straight into your pocket with no deductions for tax.

As a part-time Nurse, you’ll be a key part of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring the health of all Navy members.

You’ll start work in the Navy Reserve fully qualified in your profession. You’ll regularly work alongside your Army and Air Force colleagues in well-equipped land-based facilities under canvas, both in Australia and overseas. You can also expect to serve at sea. 

The Navy is actively seeking experienced Perioperative, Mental Health, Intensive Care and Emergency Nurses. If you’re a Nurse experienced in any of these specialities, get opportunities to apply your skills in new and challenging environments in the Navy Reserve.
