Challenge yourself with a one-year commitment
Develop your skills and take time to think about your future career direction by spending a memorable year in the ADF.
Who it&rsquo;s for: 17-24 year olds wanting a 12-month taste of life in the ADF.

You'll be paid while you train, and on completion of your Initial Military Training and Employment Training, you’ll earn at least:

As a member of the Groundcrew, you&rsquo;ll play a critical role in providing the Army with its mobility and dedicated aerial reconnaissance. With world-class training, you&rsquo;ll be allocated to either Aviation Groundcrew or Mission Support Groundcrew where you&rsquo;ll join an experienced team and have plenty of opportunities to put your new skills to the test.

You&rsquo;ll learn to support and provide mobility for soldiers and equipment in the battle zone, as well as conducting specialist armed reconnaissance, firepower support, surveillance, in a combined, joint or interagency environment.

Join the team providing the Army with its mobility and dedicated aerial reconnaissance while enjoying a 12-month taste of life in the Army.
